around the greater bay area

somewhere in the southbay there is a room with a view from where, in the summer, this is a common sight as the marine layer pushes into the bay and floods the valley

and there is a small garden that, after the first light snowfall of the winter, has a view of white tipped trees covering the santa cruz mountains

at an old mission, artwork in tiles adds color to a corner courtyard

the afternoon sun fills a lounge where chairs and a piano wait for the evening crowd to drift in

a cute and possibly edible house sits quietly in the east bay hills

two grown men showing unabashed joy and youthful glee on a parade route celebrating gay pride in our socially-diverse city by the bay
