Marshlands near the local surfing spot. It's nice here too.

nine of them

A line of pelicans hugging the shoreline one morning.

the whole world

It will take a little while longer for this view to become casual to me. Tall buildings to the right, and tall buildings to the left. The night skyline is one of my favorite views although I am sure my dated camera does not do it justice.

windows and rocks

Every so often, I'll get in my car and I start driving. Once I pulled off the road at a quaint little restaurant not too far off the beaten path for a little cilantro seafood cerviche and a cold one. Dozed off a little as well, woke up, took a picture, got back in the car.....

dry land

It would have been a perfect day - a postcard view of a palatial lake, a suggestion of summer's arrival in the breeze, a scent of acacia - if not for thousands of local holiday seekers who had descented on this location for the very same inspiration. Literally pushed to the water's edge, I clung on to dry land for all I was worth.
